Azad Saber is geboren en opgegroeid in Koerdistan. Bij zijn werk laat hij zich vooral inspireren door grote en kleine emoties. Hij werkt veel met acryl. Zijn schilderijen bevatten realistische details in een meer abstracte omgeving. ,,De kunst zit in mijn bloed, wat ik voel moet ik schilderen, ik kan niet anders.’’

De kleur van de herfst is de naam van de expositie die in het Finland van 7 tot 21 september 2001 geopend, in de Galerie-E op Lahti,
De onderste tekst is een artikel uit een krant in het Finland over de tentoonstelling.
Van 19 Mei t/m 1 Juni 2001 exposeerde Azad samen met Jan Jacob Bruin, Nesrin During en Dorie Rutten in de Gemeentelijke expositieruimte 'tusse de banke.
De expositie werd goed bezocht, en er was veel waardering voor het werk van Azad.
Het werk van Azad is samen met het werk van Jan Jacob Bruin nog te zien in diens galerieruimte 'Galerie-68 in de Gasthuisstraat nummer 68 te den Burg op Texel.
